City and Colour, acclaimed singer, songwriter and performer Dallas Green, will celebrate the 20th Anniversary of his debut Double Platinum-selling LP Sometimes with a special performance of the album at Budweiser Stage in Toronto on June 20, 2025. Originally planned for its 15th anniversary in 2020 but delayed due to the pandemic, this long-awaited event pays tribute to the record that launched Green’s solo career and one of Canada’s biggest independent labels, Dine Alone Records.
The evening will be a unique celebration, beginning with an intimate acoustic performance of Sometimes in its entirety, followed by a career-spanning set honouring his remarkable 20-year legacy and its enduring impact on fans around the world.

The show will notably be Green’s 12th performance at the iconic venue, the most for any Canadian artist with the exception of Blue Rodeo and OVO Festival, and the only independent artist to do so. Green also has the distinction of being one of a handful of Canadian artists to sell out two consecutive nights at the venue alongside Drake, The Tragically Hip, and Sarah McLachlan.
City and Colour was born in 2005 when Green dropped a limited-edition acoustic EP. The raw, heartfelt tracks ignited a buzz online, with fans worldwide flooding Alexisonfire’s website, trying to get their hands on a copy. In 2005, Green officially debuted Sometimes under the moniker City and Colour which also marked the start of Dine Alone Records.
The album surpassed expectations and was a critical and commercial success, winning a JUNO for Alternative Album of the Year and solidifying City and Colour’s place on the Canadian musical landscape Over the course of seven studio albums, Green has been awarded five JUNOs, including two Songwriter of the Year awards, and multiple Platinum certifications. His versatile and immense talent has led him to share stages around the world with some of the biggest names in music, including P!nk, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Coldplay, Neil Young, and more. City and Colour’s most recent album, The Love Still Held Me Near, achieved chart-topping success and spawned the #1 hit “Underground.” His previous albums, A Pill for Loneliness and If I Should Go Before You, both debuted at #1 in Canada, with Little Hell achieving Gold status in Australia. As a member of Alexisonfire, Green has four Platinum-certified albums. He also collaborated with Alecia Moore (P!nk) on rose ave., a Platinum-certified album that topped charts in Canada and Australia, with memorable performances on The Ellen Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live.
In 2022, Green was honoured with the SOCAN National Achievement Award at the JUNO Awards in recognition of his philanthropic contributions to music education in Canada.
