DATE, 2020, London, Ontario – Habitat for Humanity Heartland Ontario invites the public to attend the Grand Opening of the London ReStore on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 11:30am to 2:00pm at its new location: 611 Wonderland Road North, London ON.
Store hours are 9am to 5pm, with light refreshments served and family friendly activities throughout the day, ceremony and recognition starting at 12:00 pm. Community members are encouraged to drop in for the festivities and for sales throughout the store. The ReStore has been open for business at this location for several weeks but this is an opportunity to mark the occasion. All are welcome to join the celebration.
Gerry Pieroni, General Manager, ReStore said, “We are grateful to the many loyal community members who have shopped, donated and volunteered at our existing London ReStore locations. Our new location has more space to display all of our product and help customers easily move throughout the store. We believe that our existing customers will welcome the change and this prominent NorthWest London location will encourage new customers to shop at the ReStore.”
Habitat for Humanity ReStores are home and building supply stores that accept and resell quality new and used building materials, as well as furniture, appliances and home accessories to the public. Shopping at a Habitat ReStore is a socially conscious decision, as the money generated is used to fund local Habitat for Humanity homebuilding projects and operations. It’s also an environmentally conscious decision, as much of what is sold is product that is new, gently used or customer returns that might otherwise end up in a landfill.
