Texas King is a Canadian alternative rock trio known for their high-energy live performances, infectious melodies, and a signature blend of rock, indie, and pop influences. Formed in London, Ontario, the band has built a reputation as one of Canada’s most exciting emerging rock acts.
Consisting of Jordan MacDonald on vocals and guitar, Phil Spina on bass, and Melvin Murray on drums, Texas King has spent more than a decade honing their sound through relentless touring and captivating live shows across North America.
The band gained national attention with their 2023 EP Capsize, which featured the Active Rock radio hit “Whatever You Break.” They have since shared stages with artists including Big Wreck, The Glorious Sons, and Last Dinosaurs, while performing at major festivals such as Boots & Hearts, Hillside Festival, Tall Pines Music & Arts Festival, and Festival d’été de Québec.
