This is a collaboration between BIG SPECIAL (another ALL-CAPS band), a punk duo from England’s Black John country consisting of Joe Hicklin and Callum Moloney, and John Grant, an American from a small town in southwest Michigan. BIG SPECIAL had written this for their debut album, but it somehow didn’t quite work. Turns out what it needed was an anthemic chorus from a Yank.
