This week’s Undiscovered Gem is The Alter Kakers, a trio from Toronto with Steve Bronstein on guitar and vocals, Cary Corvair on bass and vocals, and Dan Barsi on drums.
Established sometime around 2010, they have three EPs and a bunch of singles, including this one: Stop Being in Love, a twangy thing that wouldn’t sound out of place in a David Lynch movie. Later this year they will be featured in the music documentary series Path to Creation which will air nationally.
